The first one the is slightly used. It looks like it was setup and tested. The second one is new (in the box) without a tank
Here is an online review I found: I seriously considered buying this, but ended up just saving the money I would have spent towards a kiln. It’s basically just a little stove top with a pyrometer that connects to a propane tank. A pyrometer is a thermometer that can withstand really high temperatures. You place the pieces (again, you are limited to pieces that don’t require carbon to fire) on top of the screen. This works a lot like firing on a stove top would. Hadar Jacobson also managed to make this work for base metal clays fired in carbon, but she used the cone as a cover instead. The SpeedFire Cone currently costs about $150. I had planned on using mostly base metal clays, and wasn’t willing to risk buying this just to find out it wouldn’t work for me. I would assume this is just slightly less limited than stove top firing would be, but I don’t know for sure. Also, it only can be attached to one of those little propane tanks, unless you shell out some more money to buy an adapter.
